Dr. Gerard was born in Goldsboro, N.C.  She graduated from Duke University and received her medical degree from University of North Carolina School of Medicine.  Dr. Gerard did her internship and residency at East Carolina School of Medicine in Greenville, North Carolina.  She came to the Savannah area in 1985 to practice Obstetrics and Gynecology at Savannah Womens Clinic.  She received Board of Certification from American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1989 and renews her certification an an annual basis.

1n 1988, Dr. Gerard started Southside OB/GYN, P.C. and is currently President of the corporation.  Dr. Gerard practices in both Savannah and Richmond Hill.  She is on staff at Memorial Health University Medical Center, Candler Hospital, and St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah.  She is married to a local attorney and is the mother of one daughter.

Dr. Dueno was born is San Juan, Puerto Rico.  He attended the University of Puerto Rico and received his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in 1981.  Dr. Dueno did his internship at the Medical Science Campus of the University of Puerto Rico.  He completed his residency program at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.  He received his Board Certification from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1987 and renewed his certification in 1997.  Dr. Dueno served as Chief of OB/GYN services at Noble Army Hospital in For McClellan, Alabama from 1986 through 1988.  He was honorably discharged from the United States Army at the rank of Major in 1989.

Dr. Dueno joined Southside OB/GYN, P.C. and moved to Savannah in 1989.  He is on staff at Memorial Health University Medical Center, Candler Hospital and St. Joseph's Hospital.  He served as Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Joseph's/Candler Health Systems between the years of 1996 and 1999.  Dr. Dueno is currently Vice President of Southside OB/GYN and practices in both Savannah and Richmond Hill.  He is fluent in English and Spanish.  Dr. Dueno is married and is the father of two daughters.

Dr. Vazquez moved to Savannah and began practicing with Southside OB/GYN, P.C. in 1990.  He is on staff at Memorial University Health Center, Candler Hospital, and St. Joseph's Hospital.  He served as Vice Chairman in 1997-98 and as Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1999-2000 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.  He is presently a full partner of Southside OB/GYN, P.C. and practices in both Savannah and Richmond Hill.  He is fluent in English and Spanish.  Dr. Vazquez is married and is the father of triplet boys.
