LINDA L. GERARD, M.D.
Dr. Gerard was born and spent her youth in
Goldsboro, N.C. She graduated from Duke University and received
her medical degree from University of North Carolina School of
Medicine. Dr. Gerard completed her internship and residency at
East Carolina School of Medicine in Greenville, North Carolina.
She moved to Savannah in 1985 to practice Obstetrics and
Gynecology with Savannah Womens Clinic. After the retirement of
the physician/owners there, Dr. Gerard opened Southside OB/GYN,
P.C. in 1988. She was certified by the American College of
Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1989. She renews her certification
on an annual basis to continue expanding her knowledge in this
field.
Dr. Gerard currently practices Obstetrics and
Gynecology at both the Savannah and Richmond Hill offices of Southside
OB/GYN, P.C. and is a full partner of the corporation. HealthGrades
honor roll regards her as a recognized doctor. She is on active staff at
Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia. She is
married to a Savannah attorney and is the mother of one daughter. Dr.
Gerard enjoys jogging and exercise at the gym.
FRANCISCO A. DUENO, M.D.

Dr. Dueno was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He resided in Puerto
Rico most of his early years. He was educated at the University of
Puerto Rico and received his medical degree from the University Of
Puerto Rico School Of Medicine in 1981. He finished his internship at
the Medical Science Campus of the University of Puerto Rico. He then
began his service with the United States Army and completed his
residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. During his
military service, Dr. Dueno served as Chief of OB/GYN services at Noble
Army Hospital in Fort McClellan, Alabama from 1986 through 1988. He was
honorably discharged at the rank of Major in 1989. After his discharge
from the military, he moved to Savannah, Georgia to begin his civilian
career practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology at Southside OB/GYN, P.C.
Between 1996 and 1999, he performed the duties of Chairman and of Vice
Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at St.
Joseph’s/Candler Health Systems.
Presently, Dr. Dueno continues to practice at Southside OB/GYN, P.C.
at both Savannah and Richmond Hill offices and is vice president of the
corporation. He is fluent in English and Spanish. He is on active staff
at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia and
received the Wall/Goldkrand Award for training and instruction of
medical residents there. He is certified by the American Board of
Obstetrics and Gynecology and works to expand his skills in the field.
Dr. Dueno is distinguished as a recognized doctor on HealthGrades honor
roll. Dr. Dueno takes pleasure in spending time with his wife and two
daughters.
ASHMED VAZQUEZ, M.D.

Dr. Vazquez is a native of Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. He studied at the
University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus. He furthered his education
at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine where he received
his doctor of medicine degree. He succeeded in accomplishing completion
of his internship and residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in
Honolulu, Hawaii while serving in the United States Army. During his
military service, Dr. Vazquez was placed in the position of Assistant
Chief and Acting Chief of OB/GYN at the U.S. Army Hospital in Nuremberg,
West Germany. He continued his service as Attending Staff at Martin Army
Community Hospital in Fort Benning, Georgia before he was honorably
discharged at the rank of Major in 1990. He relocated his family to
Savannah, Georgia to join Southside OB/GYN, P.C. in 1990. Dr. Vazquez
was appointed Vice Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and
Gynecology at Memorial Health University Medical Center in 1997-1998 and
as Department Chairman in 1999-2000.
Dr. Vazquez is a full partner of Southside OB/GYN, P.C. and practices
in both Savannah and Richmond Hill offices. He is on active staff at
Memorial health University Medical Center and is certified by the
American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is fluent in English and
Spanish. Dr. Vazquez utilizes medical continued education updates to
keep informed of new developments in women’s healthcare. He is
considered a recognized doctor on HealthGrades honor roll. He is married
and is the father of triplet sons. He enjoys gardening, water sports and
cycling.
Mary Lynn
Zittrouer, FNP-BC
Mary
Lynn Zittrouer was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia. She graduated
from Armstrong State College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in
1986. She received her Masters of Science in Nursing from Georgia
Southern University in 2005 and received her certification as a Family
Nurse Practitioner from American Nurses Credentialing Center in 2005.
During her nursing vocation, Mary Lynn has performed in various
positions at Memorial Health University Medical Center Labor and
Delivery Department. These responsibilities included nurse manager,
staff nurse and senior staff nurse providing her with a heightened
understanding of women’s healthcare and skill in the care and management
of labor and delivery patients. She is certified in inpatient obstetric
nursing and is a member of American College of Nurse Practitioners,
Women’s Health Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau.
To carry on with her ambition to support and care for female patients,
Mary Lynn joined Southside OB/GYN, P.C. in August 2006. She also has
sustained her ability to serve Memorial Health University Medical Center
on a part time basis. She is married and has one son and twin daughters.
In addition to her professional career and interests, her personal
interests incorporate her children’s activities, her family and her
church.
